On the subject of Dustjackets, at least two books in the 1969 Battle of Britain series had them. One was Full Circle – I found a copy this year.
Based on an ebay auction photo Eagle Day also had a dust jacket, although my copy must be a later printing and does not have one.
I assume they wanted to get matching books out there for the set and it was quicker to print dustjackets to start with.
Hello Jack, Thanks for the information as these are two I’ve not come across before. You have now set me the challenge of finding these to add to the site and to see if there were anymore with DWs in the “Battle Of Britain Series” I do have a list of several variations I’m after so I’m adding these near the top along with a 1956 HB copy of “The Dam Busters” which I suspect were given to the audience at the film premiere.
