Hi I have decided to sell the book, do you of any collectors that would be interested in buying it – I am located in New Zealand, so not sure what posted would be!
Hi Nay, Nice to hear from you again. There are a lot of PAN collectors ‘down under’ but all of the ones I know live in Australia and may not be interested in this as most of them are collecting the number titles whereas this was later with an ISBN. If it was me I would put it on eBay (or is there a NZ equivalent?) and as a I guide I found an Australian company selling the same sixe of PAN book but with a model of Cromwell and they are asking just under 15 NZD for postage from there to the UK. Not sure if any of this helps but the best of luck with finding a buyer, I’m hope there is one out there somewhere. Let me know how it goes, all the best, Tim

Hi thanks for responding, always good to know the value of a book & yes it does have the pull out model sheets intact

Hi was wondering what the value is for the pan paper sculpture The Railway Children signed by Lionel Jeffries – it’s not in mint condition
Hi, Thanks for getting in touch. I’ve learnt something today as when I read your email I thought ‘Lionel Jeffries in The Railway Children?’ I had to Google to find he was the director. As for price the answer is usually what someone is willing to pay but as a rough guide the paper sculture book in very good condition i.e. with separate instruction sheet and model complete £25 to £35 (there is one for sale currently at £33), without the separate sheet £10 to £15 and without the model or some missing maybe £1 to £2. Lionel Jeffries autograph ranges from a couple of pounds to three figures but if the book is good you could be looking at £40 to £45. Unfortunately Lionel Jeffries is no Jenny Agutter or Bernard Cribbens when it comes to a popularity contest for ‘The Railway Children’. Hope this helps, keep in touch, Tim K
